On April 29, the Bayfield Carnegie Library and Bayfield's Poet Laureate, Lucy Tyrrell, will host a virtual poetry reading at 6 pm through Zoom technology. to celebrate National Poetry Month. The theme will be "Earth Day is 50," although during open mic, poetry about any topic is welcome. Lucy will read some of her poems and those of other poets--poems about water, wildlife, trees, and other nature and environmental topics. Then others participating will be given the opportunity to read a favorite poem too. Please email Library Director Blair Nelson at bnelson@bayfieldlibrary.org to be given the password for the event. You must have Zoom downloaded onto your device in order to participate.
