The Bayfield Carnegie Library has had five Starry Sky Lampposts installed around the library. We hope this will improve the environment for the bats, birds, and essential insects. We have completed this project without using any budgeted funds, and we thank you all for supporting our fund raising efforts.
Read MoreThe Bayfield Carnegie Library Presents: Dasha Kelly Hamilton, Wisconsin Poet Laureate, on Wednesday April 27th at 6 pm with a poetry writing workshop, “A Line Meant” and again on Thursday, April 28th at 6 pm at the Lakeside Pavilion for “A Reading with Dasha” The workshop is limited to the first 30 people who call and reserve a place. All are encouraged to attend the program at the Pavilion. Both programs are offered at no cost.

Teresa has been Interim Director since January 2021 for the second time in her 28 year tenure at the library. She remains Interim Director until completion of coursework required by Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in Spring 2023. Teresa’s demonstrated competence and creativity uniquely qualify her to lead our library in a manner of civic pride and high quality that has been a hallmark of respect for over 150 years. The Board, along with the Bayfield community, look forward to working with Teresa in her new position.

Click on Reading History and then on Start Recording my Reading History to bring forward any past Reading history you had saved. Overdrive digital items can be searched and checked out right from here! We encourage patrons to rate the books they have checked out. Doing this will help to create a recommendation list for the reader.
